Ex-MEGADETH Bassist ELLEFSON To Guest On 'Let There Be Rock' Radio Show

Former MEGADETH and current F5 bassist David Ellefson will be featured on the Dutch radio show "Let There Be Rock" on Tuesday, July 28. He says, "I will present some of my favorite songs of all time, and I've chosen some real classic tracks for this show. I will present my favorite top three songs of my own playing in the first hour of the show, and my top three favorite songs of all time in the second hour of the show."

Ellefson recently posted the latest episode in "David Ellefson's Rock Shop", an ongoing YouTube video series hosted by the bassist himself. The new clip, titled "Discipline of Practice," features Ellefson talking about the benefits of disciplined practicing and ways to enjoy the process too. Watch it below.

Commented Ellefson: "I'm always asked questions from fans and other musicians about playing the bass, the business side of our industry, and music in general. So, I decided to create these regular video webisodes as a way to inform and respond to many of those questions."

In addition to numerous gold and platinum records and seven Grammy-nominated works, David is the author of the book "Making Music Your Business" and has two metal bass guitar instructional DVDs through Rock House Method entitled "Metal Bass Vol. 1" and "Vol. 2". He is also a featured bass clinician, keynote speaker and panelist on the subject of music and the music industry.
